Prior to joining Equity International in 2001, Mr. Beanblossom served as an associate with Arnold Palmer Golf Management, a privately held golf property investment and operating firm in San Francisco. He worked with the firm’s senior management team on acquisitions and new business development, and was in charge of financial analysis and transaction processing.

From 1995 to 1997, he was a manager for Brook Furniture Rental in San Francisco, responsible for asset liquidation and product distribution.Mr. Beanblossom earned a BA from DePauw University and received an MBA from the University of San Francisco.

Prior to joining Equity International in 1999, Ms. Carone was a financial analyst for McDonald’s Corporation where she was involved in the financial reporting of the company’s debt portfolio including domestic and foreign currency bonds, inter-company loans and derivatives. Previously, she was an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP, focused on real estate clients.

Ms. Carone graduated from DePaul University with a BS in accounting and is a certified public accountant.

Prior to joining Equity International in 2009, Mr. Finerty was a vice president at Madison Dearborn Partners, responsible for sourcing and executing transactions across various real estate sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare, multifamily and homebuilding. Previously, he held various positions at Merrill Lynch, ultimately as a vice president in the global commercial real estate group. At Merrill, Mr. Finerty advised leading real estate firms on transactions in a number of sectors, with a focus on office, retail and student housing.

Mr. Finerty received a BBA from the University of Michigan and earned his MBA with high honors in analytic finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he received the Barclays Capital Award in Finance for highest academic achievement. Mr. Finerty is also a certified public accountant.

Prior to joining EI in 2010, Mr. Jayaraman spent eight years with Goldman Sachs in private equity and investment banking and was based in London, Mumbai, Singapore and New York. His private equity experience includes both real estate and corporate transactions. He began his finance career as an investment banking summer analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York.

A Detroit area native, Mr. Jayaraman earned a BS from the University of Michigan, an MPA in International Development from Harvard University and a JD from the Yale Law School.

Prior to joining Equity International in 2010, Mr. Lulu’s career in the institutional real estate industry spanned investment research, portfolio management, product structuring and capital markets. Previously, Mr. Lulu worked for Presidio Partners, a boutique investment firm providing strategic advisory and capital raising services to real estate and infrastructure fund managers and investors located in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Earlier in his career Mr. Lulu worked for JPMorgan Asset Management and its subsidiary, Security Capital Research & Management, where his focus was on raising and managing capital for real estate investment vehicles and other alternative investments. Mr. Lulu began his real estate career in the early 1990s by helping to create the investment research capability of LaSalle Investment Management.

Mr. Lulu holds a BA in geography and urban planning from the State University of New York and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Mr. Kassen joined Equity International in 2008. He has extensive experience in corporate and real estate legal matters, including investments in private and public companies, securities offerings, joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions of real estate and corporate and real estate financings. He also has experience with forming private investment funds. Previously, Mr. Kassen was an associate at the law firm Mayer Brown, and he began his career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

Mr. Kassen graduated with a BA from Princeton University, received his JD from Harvard University and earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He was also a Fulbright Scholar in Peru.

Prior to joining Equity International in 2007, Ms. Singer supervised the legal team responsible for corporate, governance and securities matters for Equity Office Properties Trust. Previously, Ms. Singer was with Equity Group Investments (EGI), LLC, the privately held investment company founded and led by Sam Zell, where she was responsible for managing the legal aspects of Mr. Zell’s corporate investment portfolio and served as president of the captive law firm which represented the Zell-affiliated companies. She was involved in numerous private equity investment transactions and worked closely with portfolio companies in connection with both initial and later stage financings, joint ventures and merger and acquisition transactions.

Prior to EGI, Ms. Singer was a partner in the corporate department of the Chicago law firm of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg.

Ms. Singer earned a BA with honors from the University of Illinois and received her JD with honors from Northwestern University.

Prior to joining Equity International in 2008, Mr. Virmani was a senior manager in KPMG’s mergers and acquisitions tax practice where he advised multinational investors with respect to structuring international mergers and acquisitions, conducting tax due diligence reviews, establishing and capitalizing foreign operations and repatriating foreign earnings. Previously, Mr. Virmani spent four years in KPMG’s international tax practice and over a year in the firm’s state and local tax practice.

Mr. Virmani earned a BS in accounting and a JD from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. He is also a certified public accountant.
